Navigator has put safety as a number one priority during their planning stages of the project and that is one of the reason’s they approached the IUOE as well as the Laborers, Pipefitters, and Teamsters from organized labor to build this.

It has been truly impressive working with Navigator Heartland Greenway the past year. We have attended many of the hearings, met with development teams and received commitments from Navigator that the project will be built utilizing local tradesman and women.

We are pleased to partner with Navigator CO2 on the development of the critical transportation infrastructure, “Heartland Greenway,” that allows us to manage the CO2 emissions from our bioethanol production facilities.

In July 2021, RFA’s producer-members (ethanol plants) pledged to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by at least 70% on average by 2030 and ensure ethanol achieves net-zero lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or sooner.
